In this episode, we welcome Tatjana Wenig from Female Force. We talk about her roles in productions for McDonald's, Telekom, UFO361, Shirin David and her vision of making the film industry more diverse.

Why is the film industry so male-dominated?

Between 2017 and 2021, women made up just 25% of all directors of European feature films and only 10% of composition and camera. (Source: European Audiovisual Observatory). Particularly in management positions, there are incredibly few women in the film industry. Together, we tried to find out why this could be the reason. Tatjana has some interesting explanations for the low quota of women in the film industry.

How did Tatjana find her way to the movie?

Long before founding Female Force, Tatjana had already contributed to music videos for David Guetta, Future, Luciano, Ufo361 and Robin Schulz. She came to this by chance: In front of a club, she had an interesting encounter that made this dream possible for her. Because even during her studies, she always wrote concepts for music videos.
