045 Bruno Alexander - Co-Director of “The Discounters”

How do you manage to produce your own series for one of the leading streaming services — and that at just 22 years of age? Together with co-directors Emil and Oskar Belton as well as the production company Pyjama Pictures by Christian Ulmen and Carsten Kelber, Bruno created the Prime original “Die Disunter”. The series does things differently in many ways: The episodes are just 15-20 minutes short and the language is young and just feels real. We highly recommend watching the series!

Bruno talks about how he and his colleagues from Kleine Brüder Filmproduktion, Christian Ulmen drew attention to themselves and how he came to film. Even as a child, he played a character in “Die Pfefferkörner” and recently also took on the role of the young Boris Becker in “The Rebel — From Leimen to Wimbledon.” Bruno talks in the podcast about what new projects can be expected from Kleine Brüder Filmproduktion in the future.
